Outdoor Clinician
**Current focus is on hiring golf and fishing clinicians but are very open to other activities**
at a glance:
the job – be a professional listener, bullshit-caller-outer, understander, and guide to incredible people who need help—this time while moving, climbing, fixing, casting, crafting, sweating, or simply observing. You’ll bring therapy into real-life settings: on the trail, the mat, the wall, the garage, or the green—wherever you and your clients move best.
qualifications – licensed therapist (LPC / LCPC / LPCC / LMHC / LCSW, 5+ years experience) + confident practitioner in the outdoor or movement-based spaces you want to lead in. This is therapy out of bounds—so show us where you thrive and how you lead.
when – you choose. Contract clinicians set their own schedule with a commitment of at least 5 and up to 30 client sessions/week, depending on season, demand, and your readiness.
pay – $80+ per client visit, depending on activity, session complexity, and logistics. Includes time for setup, cleanup, and documentation.
where – Trails, crags, ski slopes, city parks, garages, yoga decks, climbing gyms, and other outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces across Salt Lake and surrounding areas
benefits – gear stipend (yes, chalk bags and carabiners count), flexible rhythm, a bold and supportive team, and the rare chance to help people heal through motion, repair, rhythm, and realness
